Major League Soccer has transformed dramatically over the last decade. The arrival of world-class players, expanded franchises, and growing fan bases have elevated the league's profile beyond North America. For bettors, MLS is now a serious betting market — with consistent fixtures from February through November and a playoff format that creates high-stakes matches across the calendar.
SoloPredict covers MLS with the same analytical approach we apply to European football. Form data, head-to-head records, home advantage (which is significant in MLS due to travel distances), and roster management all feed into our daily MLS predictions.
MLS Fixtures — Weekend of 29-30 August 2026
Fourteen games, and almost all of them land in the small hours if you are watching from Lagos, Nairobi or London. Seattle Sounders v Chicago Fire goes at 21:30 UK time on the Saturday. Then a block of five at 00:30: Atlanta United v Charlotte, DC United v Los Angeles, Inter Miami v Montréal, New York RB v Philadelphia Union, Toronto v New York City. Four more at 01:30 — Houston Dynamo v SJ Earthquakes, Minnesota United v Orlando City, Nashville SC v Cincinnati, Sporting KC v Vancouver Whitecaps. Colorado Rapids v Real Salt Lake at 02:30, then Portland Timbers v Austin and San Diego v LA Galaxy at 03:30. Columbus Crew v New England closes it at 21:30 on the Sunday.
The overnight scheduling is the reason MLS is worth your time as a bettor. European books set these lines with a fraction of the attention they give a Premier League fixture, and the money that would normally correct a bad price is asleep. If you are going to find a soft number anywhere this weekend, it is in this list rather than in Sevilla v Atletico.
Our position: the 00:30 block is where to look, and specifically the goals markets rather than the winners. MLS has produced more goals per game than any of the big five European leagues in recent seasons, and the away-team travel distances in this league have no equivalent in Europe — a side flying coast to coast is not the same animal as one taking a train to Birmingham. Inter Miami v Montréal is the fixture most Nigerian and Kenyan bettors will already be looking at; it is also the one where the price has been shaved most. Colorado Rapids v Real Salt Lake at 02:30 is the one we would actually take.
What Makes MLS Betting Unique
A few things distinguish MLS as a betting market from European leagues. First, travel distances between clubs are enormous — teams on the West Coast playing East Coast fixtures deal with time zones and long flights that European clubs simply don't. This creates genuine fatigue effects that smart bettors can exploit.
Second, the roster rules are different. MLS teams have salary cap constraints and designated player rules that limit squad depth in specific ways. Injury to a designated player (a club's biggest signing) has a disproportionate effect compared to losing a star player in Europe where clubs can often rotate effectively.
Third, MLS teams play on artificial turf at some venues — particularly in the north where climate makes grass pitches difficult. Teams that play poorly on artificial surfaces perform consistently worse in those fixtures, which is a pattern that shows up clearly in the data.
Top MLS Teams We Cover
Our MLS predictions cover all 29 clubs, with particular focus on the highest-profile teams: Inter Miami, LA Galaxy, LAFC, Seattle Sounders, Atlanta United, and New York City FC. These clubs attract the most betting volume and have the clearest statistical profiles for prediction purposes.
MLS and the 2026 World Cup
With the 2026 FIFA World Cup hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, MLS has never had a higher profile. Many of the host stadiums are MLS venues, and the tournament has driven new investment into the league from clubs, sponsors, and broadcasters. This growth makes MLS an increasingly important market for football bettors globally.
Place your MLS bets on Bet9ja, SportyBet, or BetKing — all three offer MLS coverage. For accumulator builds including MLS selections see our accumulator of the day.
