Hull is the leg doing the real work here. Two clean sheets and a win over Manchester United have not yet been priced in, partly because the sample is small and partly because bookmakers are slow to move on a side nobody expected to start like this. Double chance keeps the leg alive if Villa take a point.
Why the slip stops at three
0.92 times 0.85 times 0.74 gives 58%. Add a fourth leg you rate at 80% and the slip drops to 46%. The odds look better and the bet gets worse. Every acca on this page publishes its combined figure for that reason, and any slip that falls under 50% gets a leg removed rather than a longer price attached.
Alternative slips
- Two-leg goals slip (42%). Over 2.5 goals in Arsenal v Chelsea on Sunday at 68%, plus both teams to score in Ipswich v Liverpool on Friday at 62%.
- Single bet. Newcastle to win at 74%. On this card it is the selection where our number and the market number are furthest apart.
Legs we did not include
- Nottingham Forest v Tottenham Hotspur, Sat 3pm. Tottenham have not scored in two games, but Forest have not won in two either. A leg that only half stands up does not go on.
- Fulham v Crystal Palace, Sat 3pm. Both sides are on zero points. Palace have conceded six.
- Everton v Manchester United, Sun 2pm. United lost 2-0 at Hull and beat Ipswich 5-2 in nine days. Not a result you can put on a slip.

Rarely. Most require five legs to qualify, which is the exact behaviour the offer is designed to produce.
